These are photographs comprising a growing selection of colour and monochrome images taken after I bought my first camera in the early 1980s: photography has been a passion since then.            

I am a retired civil engineer living in Sussex, England. I now capture my shots digitally and process these, and scanned film with a computer. This has kindled an interest in panoramic photography and infra-red . Recently added images may be seen here.

I hope you enjoy my interpretations of what I have seen.

Most of the galleries are self explanatory but the 'Dunes and Nudes' gallery is worth some introduction.    It comprises a panel of 20 images 'Dunes and Nudes' from an exhibition of 80 black and white silver prints that was held in 2001 at the Photography Center of Thessaloniki , northern Greece, where I worked at the time.     The panel explores the similarities in form, texture and tone of these two natural subjects.     I think this was the first time that these similarities had been creatively explored in photographs.
